New Zealand moves to Orange from midnight 13th April
This afternoon, COVID Response Minister Chris Hipkins announced that New Zealand will move to traffic light setting Orange from 11:59pm tonight, Wednesday 13th April.
The same guidelines around isolation and managing COVID-19 still apply. For more guidance visit here.
A quick summary of Orange settings:
- There will be no limit for outdoor gatherings.
- There will be no limit for indoor gatherings.
- You do not need to wear a face mask outdoors.
- Other face mask rules remain unchanged – Remember research shows that mask-wearing reduces new COVID-19 cases by 53%
