Glenn Smith

Health & Safety Senior Advisor

Region: Australia

Glenn has over 16 years of health and safety experience across a wide range of industries, including construction, mining, and major events. He has worked across most Australian states with businesses of all sizes. He holds a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (AUS) and is a member of the Australian Institute of Health and Safety. Glenn specialises in guiding safe behaviour around hazards and helping businesses manage risk in a practical, straightforward way.

Atul Sharma

Health & Safety Advisor

Region: Australia

Atul has 7 years of health & safety experience and has worked across infrastructure and residential building projects, including the FIFA Readiness project in Qatar and residential developments in Sydney, giving him a strong practical background in complex operational environments. Atul holds a NEBOSH International Diploma, a Diploma of Work Health and Safety, OSHA and IOSH certifications, and Lead Auditor certifications for ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001. Atul is a member of the Australian Institute of Health and Safety (AIHS). At HazardCo, he helps organisations put effective safety solutions in place, build proactive safety cultures, and make sure their teams are working safely across all projects.

Evette McClure

Head of Group H&S and NZ Customer Experience

Region: New Zealand

Evette has 14 years of health and safety experience, including 10 years with HazardCo. She specialises in building practical, easy-to-use health and safety systems for the construction sector. Evette understands the real challenges businesses face when it comes to getting reliable safety advice and putting it into practice. She holds a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (NZ), is a Professional Member of the New Zealand Institute of Safety Management (NZISM), a certified SafePlus Assessor, and is listed on the HASANZ register.

Allan Dittmer

Health & Safety Senior Advisor

Region: New Zealand

Allan brings 17 years of experience in health and safety. Before moving into H&S, he ran his own building business - giving him first-hand knowledge of the pressures and realities that come with running a construction company. He holds a Level 7 Graduate Certificate in Health and Safety Management, is a Professional Member of NZISM, and is HASANZ registered. His experience spans high-risk industries including construction, chemical handling, and pharmaceutical manufacturing. Allan is known for taking complex safety requirements and turning them into clear, everyday guidance that people can actually use.

Jo Puha

Health & Safety Advisor

Jo has 15 years of health and safety experience across a wide range of industries. For the last 10 years, she has been a trusted advisor to HazardCo customers, providing practical health and safety guidance and incident response support. Jo holds a National Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (NZ) and is a Practitioner Member of NZISM, reflecting her strong commitment to professional safety standards.

Alida Smith

Health & Safety Co-ordinator

Alida has 5 years of health and safety experience, recognised as an NZISM Practitioner and known for her strong customer-focused approach. Before joining HazardCo, Alida delivered a range of health and safety training courses directly to the construction workforce - so she knows your industry and the people in it well. She combines this practical construction background with more than 15 years in Adult Education, specialising in supporting neurodiverse learners and individuals for whom English is a second language. She holds a Business Management Degree, a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education, the NEBOSH Occupational Health and Safety Certificate, and an NZQA Level 4 qualification in Adult Education. At HazardCo, she delivers accessible, practical health and safety advice that helps organisations create safer, more engaged workplaces.

Matē Latu

Health & Safety / Customer Support

Region: New Zealand

Matē joined the HazardCo team in early 2026, bringing a background in customer service across a range of organisations. Supporting people and building positive relationships has always been at the heart of her work. She also brings something a little different by having been hands-on in a family building business; she knows what it actually looks like on site and understands the day-to-day realities your team faces. Her qualifications include a range of health and safety courses covering HSR Stage 1, H&S Legislation, H&S Foundation Training, Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment, Heights Legislation, and Accident Investigation. Matē’s approach is people-focused and practical. She enjoys helping others understand health and safety in a way that feels clear, supportive, and achievable.

Rob Brown

Health & Safety Advisor

Region: New Zealand

Rob has over 27 years in the construction industry, including 9 years as a health and safety consultant and trainer. He holds NEBOSH certifications in Construction and Fire Safety and is a member of TechIOSH. Rob has strong knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations, helping businesses stay compliant and keep their sites safe. Rob is also an accredited Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) instructor and is passionate about supporting mental health and wellbeing in the workplace. He takes a hands-on approach to creating safe, supportive environments for everyone on site.
