The Government has passed the Health and Safety at Work Amendment Act 2026, which kicks in on 1st April 2027. Off the back of this, WorkSafe is also releasing an Approved Code of Practice (ACOP), a document that spells out the best way to manage risks in construction. Learn more and download the guide.

The ACOP shines a spotlight on consultation, cooperation, and coordination between businesses working on the same site. 

We’ve changed the structure of our Membership plans to make you can easily meet these expectations. Everyone on site (not just your direct employees) can access the H&S tools they need to capture health and safety information in real time and you have full visibility of everything going on.

Now included in HazardCo Premium and Complete plans for all new members:

• Three HazardCo Projects – Projects are now included in the annual plan to make sure every new build or major renovation is set up with the H&S tools that need to be in place. Extra Projects can be purchased as needed. 
• App access for everyone on site – Every Trade on site can complete guided reports (eg Task Analysis) using the HazardCo App, so all the site’s safety information and reporting is in one place. 
• Dashboards – Dashboards give you a clear view of site activity and gaps.
• Digital Noticeboard: Instantly share site wide alerts, safety updates, or daily briefings. When you post to the Noticeboard, everyone scanned into your site is kept in the loop. 
• Assign tasks: Don’t just spot a hazard, fix it. You can now assign specific safety tasks to your team or contractors and track them through to completion.
• Document upload – Upload documents to share important info with everyone on site.
• Geofencing (coming soon) – Workers get prompted to sign into site as they step onto the job, giving you accurate real-time site records with zero chasing.
