If you use hazardous substances at work, you must store, use, transport, and dispose of them safely to reduce risks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>What is a hazardous substances register?<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A hazardous substances register is a list of all dangerous substances (and hazardous waste) used, handled, or stored at your sites. It helps you:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Track substances on-site.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Follow safety measures.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Know what to do in an emergency.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Keeping a COSHH register<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">While a COSHH register isn\u2019t legally required, it\u2019s a helpful tool.
