New Zealand will move to Alert Level 2 in a staggered approach from Thursday 14 May and we’re sure that many of you will join us in our excitement on this news. Restrictions will ease, but we still need to ensure the fundamentals are in place and maintained.
These are all the fundamentals we’ve been learning and practicing over the last couple of weeks, and the only big change is around ‘physical distance’.
If the environment is controlled a 1 metre distance can be in place. If it’s an uncontrolled environment, you should remain a 2 metre distance from others.
If none of the above is in the place, you should always keep a 2 metre distance from others. An uncontrolled environment includes public places.
