Get prepared for COVID Stage 4 restrictions

From Wednesday 5th August, metropolitan Melbourne moved to stage 4 restrictions, which means all business except those outlined in category one and three will close.

Below we have outlined the top 3 key actions you need to ensure are in place so you can continue to operate safely through Covid stage 4. As more information becomes available, we will continue to keep you updated.  You need to make sure:

You have a current COVID Safe Plan in place

The Victorian government has now issued a COVID Safe Plan Template which you can download here. They have also included a guidance doc to help you work through the process which you can download here.

Your 5 onsite workers have a permit

Make sure your employees have the relevant work permit to travel to and from site. You can find more information on permits here and you can download the work permit template here. Both you and your employee need to sign this. It’s also a good idea to make sure any trades who will be included in your 5 on-site worker allocation, also have their permits organised.

You are contact tracing

Ensure that all your workers scan in and out of site every day. You also need to make sure that any visitors to site, who are on-site for more than 15 minutes, scan in and out of site for contact tracing purposes. This can all be done by scanning your HazardCo QR code at the front of site. All information will be stored in the HazardCo system and if you need to provide this information for contact tracing purposes, just let us know and we can organise to download this for you.
