Head of Finance and Corporate
Daniel is HazardCo’s Head of Finance and Corporate. Prior to HazardCo, Daniel worked for Spark with a focus on process automation, control and improvement. Daniel also brings audit experience having previously worked as an Assurance Senior for PwC.
Head of Commercial NZ
Ginny is our Head of Customer Success and has 20+ years of experience across ecommerce, digital marketing, and Business Development. Ginny is a former Sales Director at Trade Me jobs.
Chief Executive & Director
Iain is HazardCo’s Chief Executive & Director. Prior to HazardCo, Iain was a Partner at Denali Venture Partners. Iain has an extensive track record of delivering successful change with global businesses and scaling ventures.
Head of People & Services
Katrina has been with HazardCo for over 8 years and is our current Head of People and Operations and former General Manager. Katrina has 20+ years experience in governance, business operations and people management.
Head of Business Development
Luke is Head of Business Development and looks after our Australian business. He was our foundation employee in Australia and is based in Melbourne. Luke has a strong background in business management across multiple segments of the building materials industry.
Head of Product & Development
Pete is HazardCo’s Head of Product and Development after working for us as tech lead the last 12 months. Pete joins us with a wealth of experience and is a former Senior Software Engineer for ANZ and Certus Solutions. Pete also has experience working as a Mobile chapter Lead for Trade Me.
Adam is a former Managing Partner of BDO Wellington, Head of Advisory and Director of Innovation for BDO New Zealand. Adam’s expertise includes governance, strategic and business planning, business growth facilitation, and management, merger and acquisition negotiations.
Patrick is the former Chief Country Officer for Deutsche Bank New Zealand. Patrick has over 20 year’s investment banking experience in Europe, Australia and New Zealand with Deutsche Bank. Along with other governance and board roles Patrick was a member of Deutsche Bank’s Australian and New Zealand Executive Committee, Chairman of New Zealand’s Supervisory Committee, and a board member of Craigs Investment Partners.
Patrick is also a Chartered Accountant and currently a Director of numerous private companies.
Richard is the founder and managing partner of Denali Venture Partners. Richard specialises in business transformation, strategy acceleration, performance enhancement, leadership & financial capital management, governance, and mergers and acquisitions.
Jan-Paul is one of the founding partners of NZ Equity Partners, a leading NZ based mid-market private equity fund. Jan-Paul has extensive investment experience and sat on numerous investee company boards, helping those businesses drive their growth strategies both organic and through acquisition to create significant value for all stakeholders. Jan-Paul has expertise in governance, strategy, corporate finance, capital raising & structuring, investor relations, and corporate law. In addition to his role at NZEP, Jan-Paul is currently the independent chair of Apollo Medical and an independent director of Forthill Property, Fertility Associates, and Sunfert International (Malaysia).
