CLIENTS & SUB CONTRACTORS?

YOUR CLIENT IS A HAZARD

Under the Health & Safety Act 1992 you are responsible to ensure the safety of anyone who enters your building sites. This applies 24/7 - and includes your Clients!

You need to make your clients aware of hazards on your sites. This is done through induction using our Client Induction Cards.

Using our illustrated Client Induction cards makes Induction easy to do.

As a HazardCo Member you receive a template contract you can use for your Client to sign.
This acknowledges they have read & understood their responsibilities. Example: they will accept being asked to leave site if too dangerous etc.

CONTRACTORS ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

As the main contractor, you are also responsible for your sub contractors. If they have an accident on your site you will be prosecuted by the Department of Labour if you have not ensured the quality of their Health & Safety program.

As a HazardCo member, we will help you managae your contractors in regards to Health & Safety at no additional cost.
